Fourth grade students at The First Academy are interacting with several different subject areas throughout each school day. The students begin with devotion and prayer time, followed by Math, Science, History, English, and Reading. Each subject focuses on content specific to its discipline, but intentionally maximizes each opportunity to work in conjunction with other subject areas.

The fourth grade areas of study include English (grammar and composition), Florida History, Government and Economics, Reading, Poetry, Vocabulary, Mathematics (long multiplication, long division, fractions, and decimals), and Science (Animals, Plants, Ecosystems, Matter, Energy Solar System, Water and Weather).
