THE FIRST ACADEMY
Definitively Christ-centered,
Distinctly College-Prep
The First Academy is a Christ-centered college-preparatory school serving approximately 1,000 Central Florida students in grades kindergarten through 12. In the decades since its opening in 1987 the school has continued to grow the academic, fine arts, and athletic programs that have elevated its students to the highest levels of achievement and helped develop strength of character that leads young men and women to serve others in their own community and across the globe.
100% of TFA Graduates Have Been Accepted to College
The First Academy boasts a 100% college acceptance rate for its graduating seniors, and the most recent graduating class received an average of $43,000 per student in scholarship offers. TFA students at every grade level consistently score well above the state and national average on standardized tests. For nearly a decade, more than half of TFA seventh grade students have qualified for the Duke University Talent Identification program for academically accomplished students, as well as 68% of the most recent fourth grade class.
In the visual and performing arts, students from The First Academy have received the highest possible rankings in band and theatre at the District and State level, and TFA art students have received awards from such notable entities as the Winter Park Art Festival and Disney’s Festival of the Masters.
The Royals participate in 14 interscholastic sports at the varsity, junior varsity, and/or junior high levels. They have won numerous district and regional championships and are consistently represented at state level competition, earning five state championship titles since 2006.
