Abby is an eleventh grader at The First Academy. She’s been at TFA since fifth grade, she’s an honor roll student, an accomplished softball pitcher, and is well loved by those that know her. Abby’s parents describe her as self-motivated, independent, and diligent with her work. They also say that her laugh is infectious and hard to stop once she starts. They are proud of her strong spiritual convictions and the goals she’s made for her future.

Abby chose to GO HYBRID with The Virtual Academy, where she will spend her mornings working from home on three online courses and join her friends in the afternoon for her four on-campus courses. Abby chose TVA Hybrid for the added independence and flexibility it will allow her with her studies and Varsity softball training.

Abby’s softball coach describes her as a dedicated student and player that knows how to manage her time extremely well. He explains that she comes from a very close-knit family and enjoys spending time with family and friends. She made enormous strides this past summer and took her game to the next level through her participation in showcase college exposure tournaments and attendance at camps held by Auburn and Liberty University.
