Teresa came to TFA specifically for The Virtual Academy Hybrid program. She loves to play golf and saw the potential of creating a personalized schedule for her unique needs as a student-athlete. She immersed herself in the school culture and immediately joined our Girls Varsity Golf team and has helped take the team to the next level.

Her parents are very proud of Teresa and her remarkable achievements from her dedication and work ethic. They believe the flexibility offered through TVA is the best option for her demanding training and competition schedule. In addition to the flexibility TVA provides, Teresa likes the challenge and independence of learning online and believes it brings great value to her education. When she’s not at school or on the golf course you might find her swimming, playing music, or reading.

Her teacher describes her as a hard worker and an excellent student. She is diligent and produces high-quality work and even when she travels and misses class, she makes up her work in a timely manner. She’s an independent learner and is an effective communicator with her teachers when she needs help. She contributes greatly to the discussions and is a joy to teach.
