“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds….” – Hebrews 10:24

FoodBankFoodBank1As a Middle School, we collected 195 pounds of food, and it was delivered to Second Harvest Food Bank on Valentine’s Day in the name of The First Academy. Then, we hand delivered Valentine’s Day cards to the residents of Spring Hills Hunter Creek Assisted Living Community. They were so thankful that we took the time to think of them, and were so sweet. It was such a great reminder on a day such as Valentine’s Day when we tend to focus on what we are going to receive from others and who loves us, that it is so much more of a blessing to give that love away! The day was such a blessing for me!

8th Grade Celebration Chapel Photos– The 8th grade celebration chapel is just around the corner and in preparation for the big celebration, each magnificent 8th grade student will have his/her photograph taken on Friday February 27th. We are requesting that students dress in a nice top/shirt of their choosing along with jeans. The students will be taking a class photo as well that day.
You will have the opportunity to purchase photos from our photographer Michelle Moreman at a later date. All photos will be taken during 8th grade bible class.
