Although the Middle School scholars are actively engaged in standardized academic achievement assessments this week, the most important assessment that occurs in school is the assessment that goes on inside the minds of the students.

“Self-Esteem is derived from accomplishments, not compliments”.

Innovation is hard, yet worthwhile intellectual work. It is inspiring to witness the students’ dedication to not merely acquiring academic information but furthering their knowledge by applying it in a multitude of different ways and across curriculum strands. It is an honor to provide the academic arena where middle-school aged students feel comfortable taking academic risks, collaborating with one another, and finding creative solutions throughout the school day.
