Welcome Back to the Future!
We are thrilled to have our spectacular scholars back
in their classrooms.

“Few things help an individual more than to place responsibility upon him, and to let him know that you trust him.”
-Booker T. Washington

The First Academy presents its MS production of Seussical Jr. which, tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust containing Whos, including Jojo, a Who child who gets in trouble for thinking too many “thinks.” Horton faces a double challenge–not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must guard an abandoned egg, left to his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping, and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family, and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!

Performance dates are January 28th -30th, February 4th – 5th at 7:00 and a student matinee on February 3rd at 3:00. Don’t miss this talented cast bring Dr. Seuss’ classic characters to life!
