ROYALS TRACK & FIELD
The First Academy earned four individual states titles and the boys track & field team earned runner up honors for the third consecutive season at the 2015 FHSAA Track & Field State Championships last week.
Allen Wiggins won the boys shot put by more than four feet over the rest of the field to give the Royals their second consecutive state title in that event.
Teahna Daniels became the Lady Royals’ second four-time state champion in program history when she won the 100m and 200m dashes for the second year in a row.
The Royals also earned the boys 4x100m relay state title for the third consecutive year.
