Principal of Extended Educational Programs Message
Every day I discover something new to be thankful for within our Extended Educational Programs. A student’s contagious laugh, a staff member’s unwavering dedication, or a teachable moment with a student- there is so much to fill our hearts. A constant that I am continually thankful for is YOU. You, together with each of our incredible families, make up our school community. Our programs exist because of you. Thank you for choosing to be a part of our school family!

Becky Mayberry

Becky has been at TFA for five years. She loves the partnership between teachers and families. With a school like TCS, that partnership is even more crucial to learning than at a five-day school. She also loves the small school atmosphere.

Every year Becky looks forward to the Thanksgiving feast. It’s a great way to kick off Thanksgiving break. Speaking of vacation, Becky looks forward to going to North Carolina or New Smyrna Beach, two of her favorite vacation spots.

She loves to read and hang out with her family. She especially loves date nights with her husband, Chris. Of course, since her husband is the TFA basketball coach, she loves to go to the games and cheer on TFA! More than basketball though, Becky loves to support missions so that Jesus name can be hear around the world.

Jr. High Play Auditions
Auditions for the Junior High fall theater production (7th and 8th grade only) will be held on Tues, September 29th and Wed, September 30th. Callbacks will be set up for Thurs, October 1st.

If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Levine:

8th Grade Art

8th grade finished making their art journals. They did a great job creating pages with beautiful backgrounds, as well as shaping the tops of the pages with cool cutout designs. They learned how to bind the books using a 5 hole pamphlet stitch. Now they have started filling them up with art, images, and words that give us a glimpse of who they are.

Science and Geography Fairs
This year we will be modifying our Science and Geography Fairs. Students in grades 6-8 will only be completing the Science Fair, while students in grades K-5 will be only doing the Geography Fair. More details will be sent from the classroom teachers.

Please take a few moments to verify and update your contact, emergency, and pickup information in RenWeb. This is our primary method of regular communication so it is important that we have
accurate information on each student.

Immunization Records
New students to TFA and all Kindergarten and 7th grade students must have up-to-date immunization and health records on file. Avoid the rush at the beginning of the school year and drop these off anytime between 8:00am-3:00pm to the TCS Office.

Middle & Upper School Tardies and Attendance
As we begin the new year, please remember our teachers only have 2 days with your student each week. Being in class, on time and ready to learn is essential for their academic progress. We greatly appreciate your assistance in this area.
