A Message from Sarah Donovan, Principal of The Extended Educational Programs
This past Saturday, I had the honor of spending the day with teachers and leadership from TCS, The First Hope, and the Preschool at the Florida Kindergarten Council’s annual conference. We were able to share insight and ideas with fellow early childhood educators. It fills my leadership bucket and heart to spend time and collaborate with our strong teachers. There were representatives from across the state of Florida who sparked strong ideas for our programs. It’s such a gift and blessing to bring back such knowledge to our TEEP programs!

Senior Spotlight: Dean Childers

Dean Childers has been with us for three years. Dean has appreciated the personal atmosphere that TCS has because he shares so many relationships with teachers and friends. It has made the highschool experience pleasurable. He especially loved running for Student Government last year. He won student body vice president and has enjoyed that role this year. In his spare time, Dean plays guitar and hangs out with friends and family. Of course, he also plays sports and has loved playing soccer. When given a chance, his ideal vacation is in California spending time at attractions or on the coast.

When a Man Loves a Woman- A Devotional by PJ Wehry
As we approach Valentine’s Day, I want to leave you with this beautiful poem from the Song of Songs. As the young woman finishes professing her love to her beloved, she says, “Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame. Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot sweep it away. If one were to give all the wealth of one’s house for love, it would be utterly scorned.” Let us remember what is important about love as we approach this holiday celebrating it.
