The Classical School Blog, Week of September 15th

Parents, please take a moment to mark your calendars. The following are important dates that you do not want to miss:

A Message from Sarah Donovan, Principal of Extended Educational Programs

May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. Psalm 20:4 Do you and your family set goals? Goal setting as a family can prioritize, motivate, and help build children’s self-confidence. A useful way to make goals more powerful is to use the SMART acronym. S= Significant, M= Meaningful, A= Action-Oriented, R=Rewarding, and T= Trackable. While there are other versions of this acronym for goal setting, this one is tied specifically to family goal setting. This past year my family and I set the goal of renovating a home. While it was a big undertaking, the blessing of the reward was well worth the task we achieved together. There is beautiful power in working together as a family- what will your family goals be this year?

A Message from Joe Fana,  Principal of The Classical School

The Classical School is excited to reveal our new TCS logo!  A compass represents the new logo.  Merriam-Webster defines a compass as “a device that is used to find direction by means of a needle that always points north”.  In all that we do, our desire is for TCS to be used as a tool that points our direction towards Christ.  A compass is typically comprised of four points – our compass represents the four main elements to our program:  on-campus, home, virtual, and extracurricular activities.  Stay tuned to for offerings from the School Store.
