A Message from The Principal of Extended Educational Programs
The school year is officially in full swing as we welcome September. I have so admired and been proud of the tri-efforts of student, home, and school that have been evident during the first weeks of school. When all three are aligned, amazing accomplishments happen. We are ever so thankful for eager students, talented staff, and loving families.
Blessings for a wonderful week ahead!

Sarah Donovan

Vana Baxter

Vana is starting her fifth year at TFA, and she’s always appreciated that TCS allows families more time to do life together. She loves the flexibility that it allows students to pursue extracurricular activities like sports and art. But there’s something that Vana loves most of all. “Most importantly, TCS is a school built upon God’s Word and faith in Him.”

One of her favorite memories of TCS was when her son came to the school. As the kids were waiting for the Thanksgiving feast, she came around the corner and found her son reading a children’s book to the kindergarteners. TCS has always been a great place for older students to encourage younger students.

As for what she enjoys doing outside of TCS, she and her husband are church planters at UCF.

Labor Day
Please remember that both the school and TCS office will be closed Monday, September 7th for Labor Day.

Parent Association Meeting
Please plan to attend our first Parent Association meeting on Thursday, September 10th. It will be held at On the Rock Café. It’s a great time to connect with other TCS families and to learn about opportunities to serve.

Please take a few moments to verify and update your contact, emergency, and pickup information in RenWeb. This is our primary method of regular communication so it is important that we have
accurate information on each student.

Immunization Records
New students to TFA and all Kindergarten and 7th grade students must have up-to-date immunization and health records on file. Avoid the rush at the beginning of the school year and drop these off anytime between 8:00am-3:00pm to the TCS Office.

Middle & Upper School Tardies and Attendance
As we begin the new year, please remember our teachers only have 2 days with your student each week. Being in class, on time and ready to learn is essential for their academic progress. We greatly appreciate your assistance in this area.

Field Trip Info
We are excited to share with you our scheduled TCS Field Trips for this school year. Please see the attached document for a description of the event. All Fall semester field trips are currently open for registration (with the exception of a couple waiting to be updated online).
