A Message from Sarah Donovan, Principal of the Extended Educational Programs
The first inaugural TCS and The First Hope Father Daughter Dance was a huge success! It was an event filled with sweet treats, limo rides, fun pictures, endless dancing, and unforgettable memories! I want to extend a big thank you of appreciation to Candace Herbert, Lyn Burch, Christy Rivera, Lisa Lampkin, and Maria Cooper for making the event possible. What a beautiful start to a new tradition!

D.E.A.R. Time for 2nd Grade
I just had to snap a quick pick of my favorite thing in the whole world: the little whispers of my first graders reading during D.E.A.R. time (Drop Everything and Read). We take a break, find a favorite spot, and read! I am so proud of your students. They have grown in every way and I will truly be so sad to see them all go! Just wanted to brighten up your day like they do mine!

SGA Food Drive
The SGA has a new service project opportunity for TCS and TFH Inclusion to partake in, so that we can serve and reach out to the local community. We are hosting a non-perishable canned food drive. From Tuesday, March 1 – Thursday, March 17, there will be boxes in front of your student’s first period classroom (MS/HS grades) or your child’s classroom (Lower School grades.) The first period/grade level that has the most cans of food will receive a Spirit Wear card, as well as a free item worth $1 at Royal Recharge. The canned food donations will go to Matthew’s Hope in Winter Garden.

The End of Love- A Devotional by PJ Wehry
As a Bible teacher, it can be easy to lose track of why I teach the Bible. February is drawing to a close, and this final devotional on love brings me back to why I do what I do. Paul writes Timothy in their first letter to command him to combat false teaching. That’s the main point of the letter, but Paul reminds Timothy, “The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. Some have departed from these and have turned to meaningless talk.” The goal of combating false doctrine is love. As Christians, we need to talk about theology because the end of theology is love, but we must not divorce our talking from our final end, the love of God and the love of others. Any attempt to participate in the Christian conversation that isn’t grounded in this goal is meaningless.
