A Message from Sarah Donovan, Principal of The Extended Educational Programs
“All you need is love.” One of my favorite lyrics encompasses the long-held belief that love will fulfill you. And it’s true. His love will fulfill all that you need. At TFA, your student is loved. It’s as simple as this. They will be fulfilled academically, spiritually, and most of all with love. It’s important to note that all of the leaders at TCS, The First Hope, and the Preschool are parents of students in our programs and at TFA. We lead with love, both as parents and administrators.

Senior Spotlight: Krystal Jimenez

Krystal just joined TCS for her senior year though she’s been with the TFA family for a while. She loves how welcoming and accepting TCS has been, and she appreciates how hard the staff work to help their students understand. Her favorite memory of TCS is when her Bible teacher brought a cactus to class named Mortimer.

As for hobbies, Kristin loves reading. Anything with a good story will do. There’s nothing like learning and relaxing at the same time.

Student Leadership University
TCS Students represented at this weekend’s Student Leadership University.

The God Who Is There- A Devotional from PJ Wehry
My wife and I just moved into a new apartment with our 9 month old son, Finn. It was exhausting, and Finn did not appreciate being kept in the playpen so that he didn’t knock over boxes. He cried almost the whole time, my wife and I forgot things and broke things, and it was overall pretty stressful. In all this, Psalm 121 came to mind. As the Israelites journeyed to Jerusalem, they sang this song reminding them of God’s protection. Traveling back then was hazardous, but they believed that, “the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” January is a month of transitions, and as we near its end, it’s good to be reminded that our God is Lord over all of life, even the messy bits.

Spirit Wear Celebration
To celebrate re-enrollment, TCS will be having Spirit Wear days January 15th, 20th, and the 22nd.
