The Classical School Newsletter, Week of March 31

Parents, please take a moment to mark your calendars. The following are important dates that you do not want to miss:

A Message from Sarah Donovan, Principal of Extended Educational Programs

The final slide to summer has officially begun! We are well into the 4th quarter as we continue to support our students’ spiritual and academic growth. We prayerfully strive for all of our students, faculty, staff, and leadership to finish strong. Please continue to support your children at home in encouraging them to work just as hard in the final weeks as they did at the beginning. There is still so much to learn and do- and we can’t do it without you. It is always so amazing to see the growth that has taken place from the start of the year to the end. Thank you for being such a strong support in our school-home family partnerships.

Upcoming SGA Elections

SGA Election Packets are available for those interested in being a candidate. Materials for candidacy must be turned in by April 7th.

FBCO Cafeteria Closed on Certain Dates

Please note that the FBCO Cafeteria will be closed on April 5th and May 3rd. Students will have to bring their lunches from home. Thank you.

The Promise of Easter – A Devotional from PJ Wehry

I hope that you had a great Easter and enjoyed remembering the victory of Christ over sin and death. As we move past Easter and out of Spring Break, we can easily be discouraged. Let me remind you what the Lord promises to His redeemed. “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” Whatever trials you are facing, it can be easy to lose faith. Let me encourage you, do not lose faith. Our great God has promised to care for you, and He will not fail to do so. If Christ has conquered sin and death, He can certainly take care of whatever problem you’re facing.
