The Early Learning Center Newsletter, Week of 10/15

Parents, please take a moment to mark your calendars. The following are important dates that you do not want to miss:

A Message from Sarah Donovan, Principal of The Extended Educational Programs
At the end of everyday I reflect on who I have thanked today for serving our students within The Extended Educational Programs. It’s amazing how everyday I discover a faculty and staff member going above and beyond the call of duty to ensure a student receives the best educational experience possible. I encourage you to reach out to your student’s teacher and send them a note of thanks and love. It is appreciated more than words can say and truly fills their hearts.

Sarah Donovan

Note From Mrs. Grayson Merritt (Director/Assistant Principal)
Please save-the-date for an upcoming event that we have planned for Tuesday, November 3rd from 9:15am-10:15am. We will be partnering with TFA and holding a “Ready, Set PreK” event in the The First Academy Library. During our hour together, you will have the opportunity to hear from Mrs. Elaine Connell (TFA PreK teacher) to hear what you can be doing at home to ensure your little one is ready for PreK and beyond. After the PreK chat, TFA will provide you with the opportunity to tour a Prek classroom as well. Please mark your calendars and plan to join us for this exciting event!

What an exciting last week we have had at The Early Learning Center! Last week, the 2 and 3-year olds attended a field trip to Green Meadows Farms. They had so much fun learning about farm animals, riding a pony, a train and going on a hay ride. Thank you to each of our families who attended and helped to make the field trip extra special!

Homecoming week has been a blast so far!! Thank you for participating and sending your kiddos “dressed to impress” this week! It has been so much fun being “silly” with our friends and celebrating our very first TFA Homecoming! We look forward to the parade on Friday and hope that you are making plans to join us!
