A MESSAGE FROM SARAH DONOVAN, DIRECTOR OF THE EXTENDED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

A school family is built upon community, partnership, and trust. Community with one another in sharing time of traditions and celebrations together. A partnership of serving in His name and growing our students spiritually and academically. Trust in the leadership, teachers, and staff that we are raising your Royals, big and small, as our own children. Re-enrollment is a time when our school family is forged for the next school year. It is our prayer that you choose to return to our school family, as we would humbly love to continue serving your children and family.

CLASS AND STUDENT SPOTLIGHTS

The Transitions+ Garden has their first harvest!  So far we have some tomatoes and peppers.  They will use them for their pizza dip recipe this week.  Can’t wait to see what other things they will make with our garden vegetables.

STAFF SPOTLIGHT

Delaney Allen, Para-Professional for ELP

I graduated from The Classical School in 2015. After graduation, I went abroad to England for a year to do a Gap Year with Tees Valley Youth for Christ. I was a youth worker with a local church and worked in an elementary school as a Teacher’s Assistant. Currently, I am a student at Lake Sumter Community College pursuing a degree in elementary education. I have a passion for people, traveling, and Jesus. I am looking forward to investing in the lives of the children and their families at The First Hope.

PRINCIPAL’S NOTE

It is so great to be back at school again seeing our precious students.  As you all know who have been here for many years, January is a little busy.  We have our 2nd Quarter parent conferences (be looking for your sign-up emails) and also re-enrollment for 17-18 will be January 9-20th.  Take advantage of the first week of re-enrollment as the enrollment fee is discounted $100 (instead of $500 it is only $400).  We already have many families waiting in the wings to enroll after re-enrollment ends.  It is hard to believe but we have been planning for 17-18 for a few months already.  Thank you parents for your continued trust and open communication in working together to help your children.  We are so honored we get to be a part of their growth in so many ways.  We are always here for any questions you have.
