TEEP’S ROYAL REACH REFERRAL PROGRAM

TEEP’s Royal Reach Referral Program for all Extended Educational Programs is a great way for us to celebrate current families who refer their friends and extended family for the 2017 – 2018 school year.

Here’s how it works: When a student applies and successfully enrolls with any Extended Educational Program, the referring family receives a $150 per child in all age and grade levels at TFA’s Preschool, The Classical School (TCS), and The First Hope. The applicant must name you as their referring family on the student application. Every year, close to 80% of our new families enroll at The First Academy due to a current teacher, staff member, or TFA family recommending our school. We know that a recommendation from YOU carries much more credibility than any print ad can say, and we are grateful!

Please help remind your friends to apply early and save their spot for 2017 – 2018! Together we can experience what makes our Extended Educational Programs of The First Academy so special and bring additional mission-appropriate families to share in the excitement of TFA’s Extended Educational Programs.

A MESSAGE FROM SARAH DONOVAN, DIRECTOR OF THE EXTENDED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

The excitement and emotions of graduation have wrapped around us at The First Academy. It is a time of reflection and nostalgia of taking the great leap into college. As our seniors at The Classical School, The First Hope, and The First Academy’s 5 Day program take the walk toward their future on Friday night, I am reminded of what inspired me at that age. My dad often wrote quotes inside special books or cards during milestone moments of my life. Here is the quote he wrote to me as I began my journey to college, “The journey between what you once were and who you are now becoming is where the dance of life really takes place.” To the graduating seniors: enjoy the dance, be strong Christian leaders as you enter these new journeys, and take advantage of opportunities to travel and experience this beautiful world. To all our Extended Educational Program families, please join me in praying for the Class of 2018. We are so proud of you all!

CLASS AND STUDENT SPOTLIGHTS

The First Hope students had the opportunity to travel by motor coach to their end of year field trip destination. The younger grades ventured to Stanley Pond Adventure Farm in Astatula where they jumped on a giant air pillow, rode on oversized tricycles, and took a ride thru the “cow wash”.  Our middle and high schoolers explored The Kennedy Space Center, learning about all things interstellar, and enjoyed a special treat of Space Dots. Both groups had a great time and especially enjoyed the bus ride!

PRINCIPAL’S NOTE

I was honored to be able to visit The Els Center of Excellence in Jupiter.  Mrs. Donovan and Mrs. Lewis were able to see with me the wonderful things that this school is doing with the help of The Els for Autism Foundation.  We enjoyed our visits seeing another benchmark school making changes and differences for students diagnosed with autism.  They inspired me even more as we continue to grow.  I hope you will pray with me about the next few years of The First Hope; prayer for continued guidance and direction; prayer for provision as we grow and need additional space and technology to help support students to the best of our ability.

It is hard to believe that next Wednesday is our last day of school.  I hope to see all the parents at our final Progress Ceremony on Wednesday, May 24 at 11am.  It will be held in Henry Chapel.  See you there!

-Patty Myers
