Parents, please take a moment to mark your calendars. The following are important dates that you do not want to miss:
Learn more about Equine Therapy!
Individually we are one drop, but together we are an ocean. Teamwork is critical to the success of any program, and especially in a school. I am so humbled and proud of the teams I have the honor of walking beside and serving every day at TFA’s Preschool, TCS, and The First Hope. Recently, a new member has been added to our team. Derrick Skelton, the Children’s Pastor at First Baptist Orlando, has truly united with each TEEP program to provide support and additional resources for our programs. He is partnering with the Preschool and TCS for upcoming chapels, ensured Preschool signage is present in the E2 building, and has provided strong collaboration and vision during the E2 restoration for our programs. We are so grateful for his continued partnership and leadership with TEEP.
DONUTS FOR DADS
The First Hope Dads dropped in for a morning of donuts and coffee and to spend a little time in their child’s classroom. The students were so excited to share the special drawings, writings, or creations they had made just for their Dad. It was a great turnout with lots of hugs and smiles.
PE Teacher at TCS
Please join us in welcoming Ryan Reeves to our TEEP team! Ryan is making her way back to the TCS family after her initial experience as the adaptive PE teacher at The First Hope. During her time off to pursue her Masters in Occupational Therapy, God’s plan for her and her husband, Max to start a family became clear. They have two delightfully sweet and energetic little girls, Margaret 3 1/2 and Evelyn 10 months. Ryan has continued to use her gifts of teaching and connecting with children by teaching swim lessons.
Prayer. It is the most important part of my day. It is a time to sit quiet and spend some time with our Lord. It is a time to thank God for all that He has done for me. Prayer can be such a worshipful, intimate time with God. Think of how you have loved ones and the ones you share and talk about each day, your relationships are closer because the investment you make each day. If you don’t spend daily quiet time in His Word and prayer time your relationship won’t be as strong. God wants to hear from us, our cries and our joys. Our staff prays as a group on Monday and Wednesday morning and this is a special time for us to learn of one another’s celebrations and challenges. It is an intimate time we share together that is very precious to me.
Hear my prayer, O God; listen to the words of my mouth.
