Coffee, Principals, and a New Building- oh my! On Thursday, September 8th, The Extended Educational Programs will be hosting ‘Coffee with the Principals’ along with an Open House of our newly restored E2 building. TCS and The First Hope Families are invited to join us at 8:00am in E2-Room 215 for a presentation followed by a tour. Preschool Families are invited to join us at 9:15am in E2-Room 136 for a presentation followed by a tour. We cannot wait to welcome our families to our school family and new building!
Our resident TEEP Weatherman, Mr. Joe Fana, has been keeping us updated on the Tropical System’s Happenings. Here are some tips to ensure your family and friends are prepared in the event that the storm effects central Florida: As always, we will ensure communication if school days are affected.

JD Graham, a third-grade student,  participated in the Special Olympic Swimming Area Finals this past weekend. He came home with TWO first-place ribbons! He was the fastest swimmer in the 8 to 13-year-old division. JD competed in the freestyle race where he came from behind to beat a 13-year-old at the very last minute. He also competed in the backstroke race. He got a great start, led the entire way, and then won by one second against an 11-year-old! JD spent many weeks practicing and working on his technique. Many of JD’s classmates and teachers from both TFH and TCS cheered him on. We are so very proud of his hard work and success. We are waiting to hear if he has qualified for the State Finals.

We are well under way getting the school year started. We have had many changes these last few weeks, the biggest one was moving all of TFH to the E2 building. What a blessing! All of the hard work is paying off.  I love to hear the students talk about how nice it looks and they enjoy being all together in one building again.  It is so exciting to have all of TEEP (The Extended Educational Programs) under one roof.  God has been growing TFH so much. From 5 students in 2009 to now 43+ in 2016. I am grateful and humbled that he chose myself and all of my staff to serve Him by serving these students and families. God has got great plans for this year!
