Parents, please take a moment to mark your calendars. The following are important dates that you do not want to miss:
Disability and The Sovereign Goodness of God
Student safety is our number one priority at The Extended Educational Programs of the First Academy. I refer to our faculty and staff as ‘lifeguards’- always watching and protecting our students. Safety starts from the moment the family pulls onto campus until the moment they are safely picked up at car line. Here are some safety tips to ensure all of our TFA students and families arrive home safely:
Ms. Johnson and Mrs. Ileka’s Transitions+ Primary class has been hard at work developing and improving upon their reading and writing skills this year. From earning rewards for summer reading to celebrating the success of a new reader and new writers, it has been an exciting time of discovering the joys of a good book.
On Tuesday, September 13, our beloved Mrs. Christin Lewis welcomed her baby girl to this beautiful world. Ella Grace was born at 9:26AM, weighing in at 6.14 lbs.
Hard to believe but by next weekend it will be October already! That is one of my favorite times of the year when you feel a little crisp air, yes for Orlando that means mid 70’s. I love what the fall brings: celebrations, thinking of things we are thankful for, the fall colors, and of course the cooler temperatures. It also brings at the end of October times for us to meet with parents to review their child’s progress over the last 2 months. In just the first month I am already seeing growth in our students and blessed to be a part of their lives each and every day. Take some time to enjoy the moments now with your children as they grow and make changes. Enjoy the changes in the seasons of your personal journeys and appreciate how God is always there holding your hand. He loves you so much and is there for you every step of the way.
