A Message from Sarah Donovan, Principal of Extended Educational Programs
Homecoming is a school family tradition and one that we are so excited to be a part of at TFA!
Next week we will be celebrating in every Extended Educational Program. TCS and TFH families, please refer to the Homecoming Packet for Dress Up Day details. We will also be celebrating with a TCS/TFH Homecoming Pizza Party on Friday, October 16th at 12:00PM at the Student Center. This is a TFH early release day, and all students need to be accompanied to the event with a parent/adult. The Early Learning Center will also be joining in the fun with dress up day and parade festivities. Please refer to Grayson Merritt’s TFA Today Newsletter for more details. Homecoming 2016- here we come!

Ms. Sherian Stevenson, Transitions+ Lead Teacher 6-12

Ms. Stevenson is one of our Transitions+ 6-12 lead teachers. This is her second year at TFH. Teaching has always been her passion. She has taught as an adjunct instructor, Sunday school teacher, a woman’s fellowship leader, and at a teen pregnancy program. She enjoys teaching life skills and feels that her human resource background serves well in being one of the Transitions+ teachers.. Ms. Stevenson has such a love for what she does and each of her students. The First Hope is very blessed to have her.

I loved meeting with the moms again this last week. I enjoy sharing stories together, encouraging one another (sometimes tearfully), and praying for one another. Special needs moms have a unique understanding of one another and a special bond that others may not understand. I am so thankful that we are at The First Academy where we can pray and love on one another through our different paths and journeys. I hope we can continue to laugh and encourage one another. – Patty Myers
