Parents, please take a moment to mark your calendars. The following are important dates that you do not want to miss:

A Message from Sarah Donovan, Principal of The Extended Educational Programs
We are so very excited for the first, inaugural TCS and The First Hope Father Daughter Dance. I remember going to my first Father Daughter dance and the special memories that surrounded this event. It is so wonderful to think of the special memories that will be made for our TFH and TCS girls and their dads. The event will be held on Friday, February 19th at 6:30PM at Faith Hall, 3rd Floor. RSVP and ticket information went out via email. “I am a princess not because I have a prince, but because my father is a king.” Anonymous

Valentine flamingos decorate the TCS lobby. They are the artwork of our Transition+ students who love participating and sharing their artistic talent in a weekly art class led by Mrs. Amy Talley.

Tenisha Carter
Transitions+ Primary Para Professional
This is Tenisha’s second year working at The First Hope in her Para Professional role. One of the things that she enjoys most is the daily conversations and interactions she has with her students. Outside of the classroom, Tenisha enjoys riding roller coasters, shopping, singing, and writing poetry. We are so thankful to have Tenisha as part of our family here at The First Hope!

The First Hope strives to bring out positive outcomes and Hope. I love our name. I think it says so much about our program and what we strive for. Hope restores our hearts especially when we are struggling. Our kids struggle. We struggle. The Hope is though that God is always with us giving us strength and power to press on each and everyday. God is crazy about you, but even more he is crazy about our kids. In Romans 15:13 it says, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” I pray that you are filled with Hope today and we continue to give you Hope.
