In order for students to sign out when they are finished with exams, parents must sign the permission slip and turn in to Ms. Kim Conde at the front desk. Emails and phone calls will not be sufficient to sign out; we must have a permission slip on file.

All exams will be administered in the US building in various classrooms. The dress code will be spirit wear, to include standard uniform footwear and belts.  Students need to arrive at their exam 10 minutes prior to the start.

Please note that Upper School students who remain on campus will be eating from 11:30am-12:30pm in Faith Hall, and the lunchroom will close promptly at 12:30pm Tuesday-Thursday.

REMINDERS

Yearbooks for Sale

Extra yearbooks are available to purchase from Ms. Conde in the Upper School lobby. The cost is $100, and cash or checks are acceptable. Pictured: Upper School students enjoyed looking through the new yearbook and getting friends’ signatures during lunch last week.

Library Announcements

All library books are due by Friday, May 15th. The library will be closed for inventory, including before and after school, the week of May 18th-May 22nd.  Thank you for your understanding!

Summer AR Testing Information

AR will be turned off beginning Monday, May 18th.  It will be turned back on for summer testing on Monday, June 1st.  Beginning June 1st, students may come on campus to take AR tests on Monday through Friday from 9 AM – 3 PM on their iDevices (iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch) through the Accelerated Reader app.  Students must be on campus and logged on to the TFA Guest wifi during the designated times in order for the AR app to work. The library will not be open for testing, but there will be iPads available in the lower school lobby for students to use if they don’t have their own device.  All AR testing done during the summer will count toward the 1st quarter AR goal for the 2015-2016 school year.

Camp Orlando

Camp Orlando is First Orlando Student Ministry’s annual summer camp. This year, junior high and high school will be together for Camp Orlando, though most activities will take place separately. Camp Orlando 2015 will feature Stuart Hall (camp speaker), Unhindered (camp worship band) and A.C. Sanford (camp emcee). The theme for Camp Orlando 2015 is UNITED: though each of us is uniquely different, we are UNITED in grace and mission. This will be a week that students will not want to miss!
