Hybrid Home+School = A Flexible Christian Education
Offering a K-12 homeschool partnership
Your family’s rhythm probably looks different from others.
Some families spend their days traveling for tournaments or performances. Others want more time for shared learning at home, or need room in the week for tutoring or therapy. The First Academy’s Hybrid Home+School program is designed for families like yours — families that value a Christ-centered education and a strong academic foundation but also need the freedom to shape their schedule in a way that works best for their child. Here, students learn on campus two days a week with TFA Hybrid Home+School teachers and classmates, then complete lessons at home the other three days. It combines flexibility with excellence and independence with belonging.

Hybrid Home+School is a homeschool co-op alternative for K-12 students who attend classes on campus two days each week, with either a Monday/Wednesday track for 7th-12th grade or Tuesday/Thursday for all grades when space is available. On the remaining days, they complete teacher-directed assignments at home with a parent serving as a learning partner.
HHS provides the curriculum, lesson plans, report cards, and transcripts, so families have the assurance of an accredited education supported by certified teachers. Parents focus on mentoring and reinforcing lessons rather than creating or documenting coursework on their own.
Students study core subjects such as math, science, language arts, history, and Bible, and they also participate in electives, chapel, and other school activities. The program maintains the same academic standards and Christian mission as all TFA divisions, while offering a model that fits many families’ needs.
