Between May 5 and May 16 TFA Upper School students had the opportunity to take College Board Advanced Placement (AP) Examinations. The AP College Board Program currently offers more than 30 courses nationally across multiple subject areas. Each course is developed by a committee composed of college faculty and AP teachers, and covers the breadth of information, skills, and assignments found in the corresponding college course. TFA offers over 20 of these recognized AP courses.

The AP Examinations are administered each year in May and represent the culmination of college-level work in a given discipline, which test students’ ability to perform at the collegiate level. Test scores are given on a 1-5 scale, 5 being the best and 3 being the minimum passing score.
