Parents, please take a moment to mark your calendars. The following are important dates that you do not want to miss:
The following is a list of upcoming chapel dates and times:
Our character trait for the month of September has been Responsibility. We have been talking about this in chapel and in our classrooms. We define responsibility as proving you can be trusted with what is expected of you and knowing and doing what is expected of you. This is such a great character trait because it is so important for all of us in every aspect of our lives. Jesus taught directly about responsibility in the parable of the talents in Matthew 25: 14-30 as well as in the Parable of the Faithful and Unfaithful Servants in Luke 12: 35-48. We would like to share two different devotions with you this month in regards to Responsibility. One is intended to be done as a family and the other is geared towards parents. We hope you find these resources helpful!

Mrs. Comb’s class did a fantastic job of teaching us about RESPONSIBILITY in their chapel presentation last Thursday. They shared some great examples of people making responsible choices in their thoughts and actions and did it in a way that was engaging and relevant to the students.
We love our technology in Lower School. Kindergarten students are able to work interactively with all different curriculum components. It’s really fun too!
Last week, the KPrep students were studying the letter P. They don’t just study the letter and the sound that it makes. They fully immerse themselves in all things that start with the letter P. Their pizza looks very delicious!
Okay families, mark your calendars for our 1st Annual Movie Night for students in KPrep, TK and Kindergarten. This event will be Friday, October 14th from 6:30-8:30pm in the Student Center. Younger siblings are welcome! Can’t wait to see you there. Purchase your ticket HERE.
We are going to end the quarter with a week of fun celebrating TFA Homecoming. In Lower School, we will have the following dress up days:
There will be an All-School Pep Rally at Payne Stewart on Thursday, October 6th beginning at 6:00PM. Join me for this fun event. Our Homecoming Parade will be at 11:00AM on October 7th and we would love to have you join our classes.
This is just a friendly reminder that students may be dropped off beginning at 7:30AM. If you arrive to school prior to that time, we request that students remain with their parents until 7:30AM. The library and the gym are open at that time. Student supervision does not begin until that time.
The Boyd Moline Library will be open until 3:45pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays this year. It will close at 3:30pm on Monday and Friday and at 2:40pm on Wednesdays.
The TFA Calendar is a wonderful way to find the dates of upcoming events. Access our web-based calendar anytime. We recommend that you subscribe to all relevant calendars so you can keep up with all of the events going on around the school.
