When developing an app, we asked, “What engaging questions do parents ask of us on a frequent basis? How do families use their mobile devices? How can the app best act as a tool for our families?”
We learned our families want to engage and connect with the community; while we knew this was important to you we hadn’t a great workflow for direct communication – so we made sure that each and every aspect of the app was focused on sharing and connecting. You can easily find our social outlets, and even share with us your own TFA pictures, all from the TFA app!
Almost weekly, Parents contacted a division about missing an event – so we were asked to make events more-easily shared. Now, you can simply select a calendar, find your event and share it through whatever medium you’d prefer! Send an invite to your friends via email, or post it to your social outlet.
Likewise, when parents missed a game they wanted an easy solution to get updates. Now you can launch the app and see the latest varsity game score update powered by Scorestream! So don’t delay download the The First Academy app on iOS or Google Play store today.
Not sure where you can use Accelerated Reader? Don’t remember the URL for Canvas? Can’t remember the name for the Library Book Check-out system? The First Academy app now will guide you through each of these systems.
