Middle School Geography Bee Finalists

Brooke Prudencio, an 8th Grade Student, won the school competition of the National Geographic Bee on Friday, January 23rd. The school Bee, at which 30 students from grades 6-8 answered questions on geography, was the first round in the 27th annual National Geographic Bee.

As far as Brooke, her next step is to take a written examination. If she scores within the top 100 in the state of Florida, she will compete in the next round on March 27, 2015 at Jacksonville University.

The runner-up this year was Caleb Gordon.

MS Chapel- Join us for our weekly chapel as we enjoy a performace from our Shrek Jr. cast. Chapel begins will be held in Henry Chapel at 9:35am-10:20am.


January 29th- Join us as we hear from TFA Alumni Sarah Braddock Howard as she shares her story as a Missionary. Chapel will be at 9:35am-10:20am in First Orlando’s Henry Chapel. Some our MS dramatists will be performing during chapel as well.


The First Academy Middle School proudly presents Shrek Jr., The Musical! All shows will be held in the Black Box Theatre, which is located on the second floor of the TFA Middle School. To purchase your tickets, click HERE.

February 5 at 7:00p.m.
February 6 at 7:00p.m.
February 7 at 3:00p.m. (Matinee)
February 7 at 7:00 p.m.
February 12 at 7:00p.m.
February 13 at 7:00 p.m.

There will also be a student only matinee on February 11 at 3:00 p.m. Tickets for this performance will be $5 with student ID. Ticket sales will occur just prior to show time (no online or presales for this performance).
