The Classical School Blog, Week of January 5th

Parents, please take a moment to mark your calendars. The following are important dates that you do not want to miss:

A Message from Sarah Donovan, Principal of Extended Educational Programs

A school family is built upon community, partnership, and trust. Community with one another in sharing time of traditions and celebrations together. A partnership of serving in His name and growing our students spiritually and academically. Trust in the leadership, teachers, and staff that we are raising your Royals, big and small, as our own children. Re-enrollment is a time when our school family is forged for the next school year. It is our prayer that you choose to return to our school family, as we would humbly love to continue serving your children and family.

A Message from Joe Fana,  Principal of The Classical School

Happy New Year!  As we embark on a new year, let us reflect on the great first semester at TCS.  It has been amazing to see our students grow both academically and spiritually.  From our Kindergarten students putting on their scientific hats during Science Lab to our 8th Grade students celebrating our freedoms in Washington DC, many memories have been made.

Although there is much more in store for this school year, we begin to look forward to the 2017-2018 School Year.  With our current record enrollment, we are anticipating full classes for the Fall.  We are blessed to have you as a part of our TCS family!  Please do take advantage of the discounted re-enrollment deposit, by re-enrolling beginning this Monday, January 9-January 16.

To celebrate re-enrollment, our students may wear Spirit Attire the week of January 9-13.

We look forward to continue to walk alongside you on this journey!

Bowl Game

TCS Alumni Trey West (Class of 2016) now plays football for the University of South Florida. On December 29th, the USF Bulls took on the South Carolina Gamecocks in the Birmingham Bowl. USF won the game and ended the season with a record of 11-2. Trey’s parents were able to attend the game and cheer Trey and the team on. Go Bulls!!

Christmas Read-Alouds

In the days leading up to Christmas break, Mr. Fana and Mrs. Donovan took turns reading Christmas stories to the lower school classes. Here is a photo of Mr. Fana reading to Mrs. Gentry’s class. Both Mr. Fana and Mrs. Donovan loved getting this chance to be with our wonderful TCS students!

If students re-enroll January 9-January 16, the payment will be reduced to  $200 for TCS students. After that time, the payment will be $400 per student. Directions for re-enrollment and payment will be sent to the email address on file after the holidays.

Please use all resources available to take advantage of the discount during the first week! Grade and age level positions are not held until we have received submission of both re-enrollment contract and payment.
