A Message from Sarah Donovan, The Principal of Extended Educational Programs
“Love changes everything.” Such strong, truthful words. God’s covenant love fills our hearts each day, so that we can in turn share love with those around us. Acts of love are happening everyday at The First Hope, The Classical School, and The Early Learning Center. It is woven throughout each and every act we share with our students. What a gift to fill our precious students with knowledge, faith, and most of all love.
Note From Mrs. Grayson Merritt (Director/Assistant Principal)
During the month of November, it is time for us to take a moment to breathe, open our eyes and hearts and just be, just be thankful!! We are so richly blessed and it is so easy to caught up in all the craziness of the daily demands and lose sight of what is so important. Seek out those moments with your littles, seek out those moments with your spouse. Just be still and breathe in the awesomeness of who and what God means to you in that moment. In all things, in all circumstances, give God the glory; give Him the thanks!!
TELC Gives Back
I am so excited to share with you a campaign that we will be launching during the month of November. We have been so richly blessed by so many different departments at The First Academy during our inaugural year. This past summer, The First Academy welcomed us with open arms and have worked side by side with us to help us become the program we are today.
In recognition, TELC would like to take the month of November to “give back”. In keeping with the tradition of ways The Early Learning Center has blessed others in years past and to align with our curriculum theme of being “thankful” (Psalm 107:1) this Thanksgiving season, we would like to bless others throughout the month of November.
Here is where we are asking for your support:
We thank you in advance for partnering with us during the month of November as we “give back” and to be models to our children. As as staff, we feel it is important, for the children to see how we are the “hands and feet of Jesus” and that we model how to serve and show gratitude to those who have helped us and who don’t have what we do.
Wishing you a blessed week!
Mrs. Grayson Merritt
The 3’s spent their morning exploring pumpkins through different centers including science (sink or float experiments); sensory (exploring the inside of a pumpkin); and art fun (pumpkin stamping).
