A Message from Sarah Donovan, Director of The Extended Educational Programs

An anchor was designated as the new logo and symbol for The First Hope for its representation of ‘hope anchoring the soul’ from the book of Hebrews. This upcoming Saturday, February 25th from 8am-12pm, The First Hope will be hosting it’s first annual ‘Hope Conference’ to provide ‘anchors of hope’ to parents, educators, and community members in providing special needs resources. We would love to welcome all parents of students of all abilities to join our conference. Below is the link for vendor and registration information. Anchors away! We hope to see you there!

Preschool Spotlight

March is right around the corner and we have SO many exciting events to share with you.

On Thursday, March 9th and Friday, March 10th, at 9:30am we are inviting our sweet preschool grandparents or “grandfriends” (for those who may not have a grandparent in town, you may invite a special friend to come in to join us) to join us for a morning of celebrating! Invite your special grandparent or grandfriend to come join our preschoolers for a special snack, circle time, craft and playground fun. We are so excited to open up our preschool and have your child share this time with their grandparent or grandfriend! Please be sure to let your teacher know if your child does not have a special grandparent or grandfriend for this morning so that we can be sure to pair them up with a friend.

Monday, March 13th-Friday March 17th our Parent Sunshine Committee will be blessing our staff and teachers. Each day, the Sunshine Committee has planned a special way to bless our staff each day. More information will be coming home via “backpack express” from the Preschool Parent Sunshine Committee. Please contact your class room mom for more information.
