Since 1984, Walt Disney World Resort has collaborated with local school districts to identify and recognize young people who have demonstrated excellence in their schools and communities. Disney Dreamer and Doers are celebrated for the many ways they are engaged in taking positive action to improve their communities, homes, and schools. This year TCS and The First Hope students had the opportunity to be recognized as our first Disney Dreamers & Doers. And the winners are in! Please join me in congratulating these students for their stellar work in serving in their classrooms, neighborhoods, and communities!

STAFF/TEACHER APPRECIATION WRAP-UP

We can not thank you enough for all of the love and blessings that you showered upon our teachers this past week. Staff & Teacher Appreciation was such a tremendous success because of YOU!! The Sunshine Committee is so thankful for your support!

GRANDPARENT’S DAY THANK YOU!

What an incredible 2-days celebrating our grandparents. Our teachers worked so hard on making such cute projects and organizing circle time, songs and more to help our grandparents feel so special. Each classroom I visited was full of laughter and praise for what a wonderful time our grandparents had. Thank you for your help in making sure a grandparent or grand-friend was able to celebrate this fun morning with your child!

Thank you so much for your amazing support of the preschool. We are so truly blessed by your precious families and thank you for choosing our preschool to serve your family!

PRESCHOOL SPOTLIGHT

Chapel With First Baptist Orlando’s Children Pastor, Derrick Skelton

Our 3’s were so excited to once again have a visit from Pastor Derrick’s special friend, Oreo!

Oreo shared with us how God wants us to be a “light” in our world. She shared with us how we can be a light by:

*Telling others about Jesus

*Praying for our friends

*Inviting friends to church with us

Oreo gave each preschool friend a candle and showed us how when we cover up our light we aren’t telling others about Jesus.

God wants us to Shine His Light and tell others about Him.

We turned out all the lights and held up our candles so that we can just see all of the candle light in the room and sang “This Little Light Of Mine”. It was such a tender and memorable moment for our little friends!
