“There are many little ways to enlarge your child’s world. A love of books is the best of all.” Jacqueline Kennedy
Next week, TFA’s Preschool is hosting their first Scholastic Book Fair. Putting books in the hands of our littlest Royals and their families is invaluable to growing future readers, and ultimately leaders. Children learn to read in the laps of their parents…and teachers! We are excited to grow our Preschool library through this event. The Preschool Book Fair is being hosted on October 25th-27th at 8:00-10:00am and 3:00-5:00pm at the Preschool (FBCO Campus, E2 Building-1st Floor). The book levels will range from Preschool – 5th grade. We are opening the book fair to TFA Lower School families on Wednesday, October 26th from 2:45pm-5:00pm. All TEEP families gain special admittance and are welcome during the open Preschool Book Fair at all times! If you can’t make the event, good news- below is the link to shop online 🙂

Preschool Scholastic Book Fair (Tuesday, October 25th – Thursday, October 27th) Come support our preschool, and help us build our preschool library while helping to grow your home library as well! Shop our book fair during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up times on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday. All of your favorite preschool – 5th-grade books will be available for purchase, and each purchase will help to benefit our preschool.
We would love your help! If you have an extra half hour and would love to help support the book fair through volunteering your time, please click on the link (http://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f044aa4a929a7f58-scholastic) to sign up for the following times to help:
*Monday help unpack and set up the book fair
*Tuesday: help “man” the book fair during sale hours (8:00am-10:00am or 3:00pm-5:00pm)
*Friday help to pack up the book fair. Any time you can help out would be so appreciated!
We will even have a special book signing by two of our very own preschool parents, The Copelys. They have written an adorable children’s book about “Daring Dexter” (the family’s Yorkie dog). Join us for a chance to meet The Copelys on Tuesday and Wednesday morning from 9:00am-10:00am who will have autographed copies of their book available for purchase.
If you can’t make the book fair, we have set up a page where you can shop online. Please click here (https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bookfairs/cptoolkit/homepage.do?method=homepage&url=tfapreschool) to purchase books for your sweet preschooler and help support our preschool! There will be more details to come, but please mark your calendars so that you don’t miss this fun-filled event!
Ready Set K-Prep (Thursday, November 3rd in the TFA Library @ 9:15am) Calling all 3’s Parents!! Have you been asking yourself any of the following questions?: What are my plans for next year? How do I apply for K Prep on the main campus? What will my child be doing in K-Prep? Well, we have designed this special event catered to answer all of your questions about K Prep applications, entrance testing, curriculum, and more! Come join us for a morning of Pre-K readiness and an introduction to TFA’s Kindergarten Preparatory (K4) program. You will have the opportunity to hear from TFA’s K4 teachers on what you can be doing at home to ensure your little one is ready for Pre-K and beyond. TFA will also provide you with the opportunity to tour a Kindergarten Preparatory Classroom.
Wishing you and your family a safe weekend!
