Parents, please take a moment to mark your calendars. The following are important dates that you do not want to miss:
Special Needs Parenting Blog:
The First Hope opened a special needs preschool program this year. We are so excited to welcome our first preschooler, Rikki Shill, to our program. Jennifer Stilling MS, CCC-SLP is serving as the lead teacher. We can’t wait to see the wonderful growth these two will make together! We currently have 2 spots still available in the class for two three-year-olds. Please contact us if you or a family you know might be interested in providing your special little one with a loving and enriched environment.
Welcome, Amy Moore! While Orlando is her family’s home, Amy lived and grew up in many places in Florida and in North Georgia. Amy attended Truett-McConnell University and received her B.S. in Education. This will be her fourth year teaching, having taught second, third, and kindergarten in the past years. When she isn’t teaching, she enjoys Disney, traveling Florida and the world, serving at her church (First Baptist Orlando), drinking Chick-Fil-A sweet tea while reading a good book, and spending time with her very large extended family. Amy is very excited and blessed to join The First Hope family and to see God work in the lives of the children, families, and staff as we grow and learn together.
We made it into E2! After months of planning with the church, we finally moved in on Monday. The new carpet and paint make the rooms so fresh for the start of a new school year. I am so grateful to FBO for working together with us to make this all happen. All of The Extended Educational Programs are now under one roof: TFA Preschool 1st floor, TCS 2nd floor, and TFH 3rd floor. We have many families who have siblings in different programs and it is great when they get to see each other at times throughout the day. Our own 2nd grade student, Clayton Perryman, took a “first day of school” photo with his sister Mackenzie who is attending our TFA Preschool. Go Royals! Love that TFA spirit.
