TFH/TCS PARENT ASSOCIATION SIGN UP
Koby M., a tenth-grade student in The First Hope Inclusion program, worked on an Apologetics project before the Christmas holidays but never presented it. Having never presented anything before, his nerves got the best of him. As a student who struggles to understand what he believes, Kobe chose to do his project on Atheism versus Christianity and the differences between the two. He presented his project to his TCS classmates last week and, although extremely nervous, gave a stellar performance. He started to read word for word what he and his teacher, Mrs. Christin Lewis, had outlined but after she asked him a couple of questions, he began to share freely about the knowledge he had learned from the project. This was a HUGE accomplishment!!!! Kobe also talked to Mrs. Lewis about the movie “God’s Not Dead” that he had watched with his classmates and was able to apply what he learned from the movie to his project. Mrs. Lewis shared this special news with the TFH staff exclaiming, “God is GOOD everyone. This made my heart REJOICE! This is why we do what we do.”
I am beginning to get excited about hosting our very first conference at The First Hope in February- The Hope Conference. I can’t wait to share with parents and educators some great tools, information, but most of all HOPE! There is nothing better than hope. I have sat and listened to parents in our conferences these last 2 weeks share their heart, share their worries, and share what their hopes are. I want to always remind parents that God is our greatest hope and He will always supply all our needs. We may have to travel a different path but He is faithful. I am wanting to see many of our parents and others sign up for the conference. The link is above to register today. HOPE to see you there!
