Horses and Hard Work Builds Confidence and Character
Ms. Stevenson and Mrs. Kovie’s classes made their 5th and final trip of this school year to Equine Angels Foundation. A volunteer run horse rescue dedicated to “nurturing the spirit and well-being of children”. Equine Angels allowed our students to learn valuable horsemanship skills while challenging them to step outside their comfort zone. Several of the kids were able to overcome their fears and insecurities and achieve personal goals.

“All we have is all we need. All we need is the awareness of how blessed we really are.” I read that quote and felt God’s blessings on me and my family. It can be easy to say, “why me Lord?”, or maybe even, “when will this get easier?” God wants us to be reminded no matter the hardship there are always blessings, always things to be thankful and grateful for. Today I was thankful that my son put on his own school clothes. I was thankful that I was able to get out of bed and go to work serving others. We all have challenges we face each and every day, some harder than others, but I know that God has always got me covered in His perfect love. He is always there for me to talk to anytime, any day, any place. Please be encouraged that all our staff are here to pray with you anytime you need.
Have a blessed day!
