A Message from Sarah Donovan, Principal of the Extended Educational Programs
“God couldn’t be everywhere and so he made Grandparents.” We are so looking forward to our Grandparent’s Day events at TCS, The First Hope, and our Preschool. The Preschool is hosting their Grandparent’s Day at 9:45AM on Thursday, March 10th for all age groups. TCS (K-5 classes) and The First Hope (K-5 inclusion classes and transitions+) are hosting Their Grandparent’s Day events at 1:00PM on Thursday, March 10th in Room 215/225 at TCS. You can also purchase a special TFA Grandparent’s T-shirt through TFA’s school store! We can’t wait to show our Grandparents how much they are loved at these special TEEP events.
Our First Hope and TCS students enjoyed a Father-Daughter Dance to celebrate Valentines. The dancing, decorations, and treats all made for a memorable evening. Sarah Donovan, Principal of TEEP, attended and participated in a group photo capturing all the smiles. Jennifer Pinckney ~ Program Support Coordinator
The First Hope would like to welcome Lydiett Ramirez to its team. Originally from Puerto Rico, Lydiett and her family moved to Orlando in 1998. A graduate of The University of Puerto Rico with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing, Lydiett went on to complete several child education trainings and programs from preschool to high school level. Since 2003, Lydiett has been serving as an Assistant Teacher, Paraprofessional, and Substitute Teacher in both the private and public sector. Lydiette has been married for 22 years and is the mother of two children. Her son is a 2013 TFA graduate and her daughter is currently in the TFA Upper School. The First Hope is blessed to have Lydiett share her talents with both our students and staff.

ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL’S NOTE
Our enrollment for 2016-17 has had its highest inquiries in the last month. We continue to have families who are inquiring even out of state and some out of the country. I am always humbled by what God is doing here and the word is getting out. It was just 7 short years ago that we began with only 5 students and now we have grown to 37 for this school year. We have 2 complete programs: Inclusion and Transitions+ that serve students who have varying needs. It is exciting to watch how God has grown this program and continues to make it even stronger. Our program continues to partner with parents to help their child succeed, grow, and make measured gains in their independence. Thank you Lord!
