Parents, please take a moment to mark your calendars. The following are important dates that you do not want to miss:
Our Transitions+ Classes had the opportunity to go to Chick-fil-A and get a behind the scenes look at how the day to day operations are carried out. A special thanks to Mindi Onderick, Marketing Director, for organizing such an informative and hands-on experience for our students. From squeezing lemons and packaging cookies to meeting the cooks and greeting the customers, the students had a wonderful time.
Pranav, Cristina, and Harrison getting instructions on the art of making the lemonade
Zachary and Jonah trying their hand at squeezing lemons
David packaging the cookies that the students then offered to the customers as a complimentary treat
Program Support Coordinator
Inclusion Lead Teacher Grades 9-12
Mrs. Lewis and her husband received exciting news this past weekend! They are having a baby girl this fall and couldn’t be happier! We love celebrating our growing family at The First Hope!
The First Hope moms were able to spend the morning with one another celebrating our kids last week. The moms got to experience “The First Hope Favorite Things” and were showered with gifts to remind them of their blessings. The breakfast was also a time to take a break and get to know one another a little bit better. At the closing of our time we watched a beautiful video with all our kids and then at the end were all given a bracelet with charms that said, “Never Give Up” and “Hope”. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room. Thank you for partnering with us and we are so honored to be able to be used by the Lord to help your children continue to grow and achieve great things.
