Dear TFA Families,
What a mighty God we serve!
As I reflect back on my last 12 years of serving The First Academy as Head of School, I feel this refrain best describes the time that has passed. It was not too long ago that the beautiful buildings and classrooms that our students now enjoy were just empty plots with fire ants and Bahia grass. Through a God-sized vision and His provision, today our students are flourishing in state-of-the-art facilities with classroom space specifically engineered and solely dedicated to the teaching and training of the next generation of Christian leaders. The story of God’s provision over the last 12 years was founded upon our very own TFA families giving over $40 million to see the vision become a reality.
Today, outside of our current gym and Upper School, there is another empty grass lot in which we pray will soon sit a new Field House containing a gymnasium and weight room. As we see the architectural plans and computer renderings displayed on campus, we are confident that this building will become the capstone of our campus plan, and will help facilitate the continual growth of all of our athletic programs from cross-country to golf, from volleyball to basketball, and across all divisions from Lower School to Upper School.
As in times past, we believe this is something that God would desire us to build in order that we might continue our mission to impact young lives. Today I ask that you and your family would consider joining us in prayer for God’s financial provision to accomplish this vision.
