NEW THIS WEEK

You are invited to a Hot Cocoa Reception!

Meet the Artists of TFA’s Fall Visual Art Exhibit 2015
Throughout the school day on Friday, December 4th in the Library

The exhibit is open during school hours Wednesday, December 2 through Monday, December 7. Reception is Friday only.

Mrs. Collins’ and Mrs. Gegerson’s students are learning to host and develop a community exhibit, fulfilling several key points from the Florida State Sunshine Standards of curriculum for Visual Art. They exercised critical thinking and problem solving skills to solve aesthetic spacial relationships to provide an attractive public display for visitors. Visual artists are the ‘silent performers’ who receive their ‘applause’ through a viewers’ time spent looking at their piece.

Mrs.Collins’ Ceramics I students will be drinking their Hot Cocoa from their own homemade Ceramic mugs! They learned how to make these mugs food safe by using special glazes and processes.
