Upper School Final Exam Schedule

Upper School families,

Next week, we begin our final exam process, with summer vacation on its heels! I know we are all excited, but we want to see your sons and daughters through next week with intentional focus. Included in this email is an exam schedule and a permission form that allows your student the opportunity to gain the college feel of independence during final exams.

Final exams are divided among the last four days of school, starting with this Friday. With your permission, students can come and go between exams. If a signed permission form is not turned in, students will not be permitted to leave; phone calls and emails will not be accepted. Students who remain on campus will be sent to study hall classrooms for accountability for the remainder of the school day. Lunch will be held in Faith Hall from 11:30-12:30 each day, and the cafeteria will close at 12:30. Lunch will not be served on Wednesday, May 25 since students are released at 12:15.

Friday – English & Science

Monday – Math

Tuesday – Foreign Language & Electives

Wednesday – Make Up Exams – Students are not required to report to school on Wednesday unless they need to make up an exam; teachers will communicate with individual students to coordinate make up exams.

If you do not have an exam on any given day, you are not required to come to school. If you do not have an exam until the afternoon, you do not need to come to school in the morning.

Please note that Social Studies exams have already been administered in classes.

Permission forms should be turned in Mrs. Blackwell in the front lobby. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Library Announcement

All library books are due back to the library by Friday, May 20th.  Thank you for your consideration.

Summer AR Testing

Accelerated Reader will be turned off on Monday, May 23rd to allow time to set up the 2016-2017 school year.  Summer AR testing will become available beginning Monday, June 6th.  The library will not be open for testing over the summer, but students may take tests on iDevices via the AR app Monday through Friday from 9 AM-3 PM.  If students don’t have their own iDevices, there will be iPads available for AR testing in the Lower School lobby.  Students must be on campus logged on to either the TFA Guest or TFA wifi to take AR tests.   All tests taken during the summer will apply toward the first quarter goal of the 2016-2017 school year.  For further information, please click here: 2016 Summer AR Directions
