US Bell Schedules
Upper School will follow a Monday bell schedule on the following days: August 11, 12 and 18.
iPad Pick Up
If students have not completed their iPad Orientation Course or scheduled their pick-up, they will need to use their current iPads during the first few days of school. We will not have pickup during the morning nor during Genius Bar times. There are 20 slots available each day after school to sign up from 3:15-4:00. Students are prompted to sign up for a slot after they have completed the iPad Orientation Course in Canvas: https://thefirstacademy.acuityscheduling.com/schedule.php?calendarID=575010
Royal Color Guard Info
The Royal Color Guard is back! Royal Guard is a team that uses flags (and maybe even light sabers this year!) along with the band at football games and competitions. For more info, join us in the band room this Thursday after school. There will also be a Royal Guard Clinic this Saturday, August 13, in the Student Center from 8:45-11 am. Come just for fun, and see if you like it! Contact Mrs. Collins in US 116 or Band Director Mr. Hull in US 210 for more info.
REMINDERS
Student Drug Testing
All Upper School students will be drug tested August 25-26 during the school day. The schedule will be posted outside Ms. Gooseman’s office downstairs and Mr. Chambers’ office upstairs. Students should report to the Gym Lobby with their student ID at their designated testing time.
Gluten Free Options Available in the Cafeteria
Students with gluten sensitivities have a few options in our cafeteria. Please ask for Chefs Jaime, Greg or Emily for assistance. Options include gluten free pasta available daily as well as grab and go salads, grilled chicken and hamburger patties. There are also a few items on the menu that can be tailored to be gluten free.
