Yearbooks for Sale

Extra yearbooks are available to purchase from Ms. Conde in the Upper School lobby. The cost is $100, and cash or checks are acceptable. Pictured: Upper School students enjoyed looking through the new yearbook and getting friends’ signatures during lunch last week.

Senior-led Chapel

The theme of this year’s senior chapel was “Unmasked.” Our senior class wanted to be vulnerable with the rest of the high school as we know that being real is difficult. After worshipping together, over 30 seniors chose to be vulnerable through sharing their cardboard testimony. On one side of the cardboard we wrote something we struggle with when we aren’t relying on the Lord. On the other side we shared how Christ has redeemed us from that struggle. It was amazing to watch the courage of our peers, as they were willing to take off their masks and share what the Lord has done in their lives. Over 50 seniors then spread around the room, paired up with a junior and prayed over them for their upcoming year. It was such an encouragement and blessing for everyone to see how unifying vulnerability can be. The senior class verse of the year is Galatians 5:13, “You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free…” We know that true freedom is only found in Christ and trusting Him in who He has made us to be. ~ The Senior Class of 2015

Library Announcements

All library books are due by Friday, May 15th. The library will be closed for inventory, including before and after school, the week of May 18th-May 22nd.  Thank you for your understanding!

Summer AR Testing Information

AR will be turned off beginning Monday, May 18th.  It will be turned back on for summer testing on Monday, June 1st.  Beginning June 1st, students may come on campus to take AR tests on Monday through Friday from 9 AM – 3 PM on their iDevices (iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch) through the Accelerated Reader app.  Students must be on campus and logged on to the TFA Guest wifi during the designated times in order for the AR app to work. The library will not be open for testing, but there will be iPads available in the lower school lobby for students to use if they don’t have their own device.  All AR testing done during the summer will count toward the 1st quarter AR goal for the 2015-2016 school year.
