Veterans Day Celebration

The First Academy Upper School Wounded Warrior Club will hold its annual Veterans Celebration to honor the Veterans of greater Orlando on November 8 at 10:00am. This year’s celebration will include: the United States Navy Color Guard from the Naval Operational Support Center, The First Academy Concert Band, a surprise guest speaker currently serving our country in the Middle East, and a salute to 93-year-old USAF Master Sgt. George W. Coar a WWII, Korea and Vietnam veteran. The students will also honor a Wounded Warrior from Kissimmee, along with recognizing all veterans during the celebration. There will also be a special tribute remembering a Central Florida family whose daughter paid the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

All Veterans and current members of the military are welcome to attend. The celebration will be held in the Faith Hall Auditorium on the campus of First Baptist Orlando. Please see the link to our campus map below:
