A Christian High School with a Christ-Centered Approach to Competitive College Prep

High school is when it all comes together for your teenager — the academics, extracurriculars, team sports, campus roles and responsibilities, and their spiritual life and character development. These are the years when they’re preparing to make some pretty major life decisions. You want to be sure they’re attending a private high school where they can make the most of every opportunity and every resource available to them while at the same time strengthening their Christian values.

This school is a true blessing. Wishing I had taken the leap of faith to relocate when my son was in preschool! Happy to be here for his high school years! Feeling safe and happy everyday. Although the studies are exceptional and rigorous, he doesn’t break a sweat and is always smiling. This is because of the peaceful teaching style and loving ways of the entire staff. We love TFA!

We keep students grounded by keeping Christ at the center.

High school can be a challenging time as teens begin to experience the many pressures associated with a competitive, ever-changing world. We make sure our students keep their heads and hearts firmly focused on Christian values and preparation for Christian leadership. We support our mission by helping students choose …
  • Character before career. A biblical worldview, chapel, and Living Curriculum teachers all support personal, spiritual growth and a strong moral compass.
  • Wisdom beyond scholarship. Our curriculum intentionally emphasizes critical thinking, good communication, and problem solving.
  • Service before self. Community service is part of our culture and curriculum. Our graduates accumulate, on average, close to 20,000 service hours every year!
  • Participation as a way of life. There’s joy in learning and doing at The First Academy, as evidenced by our Student Leadership system, athletics, and clubs and organizations.

Keeping Them Safe

Safety is our top priority. In addition to ensuring students feel emotionally supported, we have a dedicated safety team who keeps our campus secure. All staff undergo background checks and all visitors are required to check in. All Upper School students are subject to random drug testing, and we have well-articulated policies on bullying and social media.
