This is a time for new parents to ask questions and receive information regarding your family’s transition to The First Academy. In order to meet the scheduling needs of new families, we offer both on-campus and virtual sessions. We look forward to providing a sweet treat and a time for casual conversation to help ensure a strong start at The First Academy. Topics include, but are not limited to, How to Get Connected, Academics, Student Schedules, Spiritual Formation, Athletics, Fine Arts, and much more.

Save the Date! Meet the Teacher for the 2021-2022 school year will be held in “Open House” style, with our teachers and staff looking forward to meeting students and families on Monday, August 9 between 2:00pm and 4:00pm. Then join us in the Worship Center on Thursday, August 19 for the first chapel of the school year, a special All Family Chapel. More information to come and we look forward to seeing you there!
Newly enrolled families will receive information about learning how to navigate Family Portal (formerly known as FACTS ParentsWeb), our online Student Information System. You will learn how to access Student/Family contact information, Student Medical information, Attendance, Daily Grades, Progress Reports. Lesson Plans, Homework, Discipline, School Directory and other useful school information.

There are a variety of ways parents can volunteer and become connected with The First Academy community.
Starting in the 2021-2022 school year, TFA will partner with FLIK, an independent school dining service. More information will be provided to families on lunch ordering and lunch schedules during the summer of 2021. We look forward to opening our brand-new kitchen in August. Transitioning to a new school is a life skill that will help your child when they head to college. Some might find it fun and exciting, others a bit nerve-racking. Please know reaching out to the teachers and division for guidance is always welcome.
