Message from Mrs. Sarah Donovan, Director of The Extended Educational Programs
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! A time of love, joy, and traditions. One family tradition celebrated in my home was watching Charlie Brown’s Christmas on Christmas Eve. I find that in the hustle, bustle of the holiday season, Linus’s scripture reading from Luke 2 anchors me to the true ‘meaning of the season’. I share it with all of you, our TEEP families, as a reminder of the Nativity of Christmas.Charlie Brown: Isn’t there anyone who knows what Christmas is all about?!
Linus: Sure Charlie Brown, I can tell you what Christmas is all about. Lights please?
“And there were in the same country Shepards abiding in
the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And lo, the
angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone
round about them, and they were sore afraid. And the angel said
unto them, ‘fear not, for behold, I bring you tidings of great
joy which will be to all people. For unto you is born this day in
the city of David a savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this
shall be a sign unto you. Ye shall find the babe wrapped in
swaddling clothes lying in the manger.’ And suddenly, there was
with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and
saying, ‘glory to God in the highest, and on Earth peace, good
will toward men.’”
That’s what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown.

I know it is hard to believe but enrollment for your child’s KPrep class for next year has already begun. To make the process as seemless as possible, please check out the website link http://thefirstacademy.org/admissions/how-to-apply/ which will take you directly to TFA’s Admission page.
