RECOGNITION

National Art Honor Society Induction Ceremony

Last week, we proudly presented students for the 2017 induction into the National Art Honor Society at The First Academy. The purpose of the National Art Honor Society is to inspire and recognize those students who have a God-given ability in art and to bring art education to the attention of the school and community. Cynthia Collins and Marsha Gegerson sponsor TFA’s Chapter of NAHS.

Inductees were greeted at the NAHS luncheon and Award Ceremony with colorful leis, and received a beautiful red rose as their name was called during the ceremony. Seniors also receive the National Honor Society cord to wear as they process down the aisle to graduate!

AP EXAM 2017 Testing Rooms – students are encouraged to report 15 minutes early so they can find their assigned room; they must be in the correct room to test.

Sapphires Auditions

Attention 5th-11th grade girls!

Royal Sapphires Auditions will be held:

The Royal Sapphires Dance Team represents TFA at Football games, Pep Rallies, Parades, & Chapels. The Sapphires also use dance as a tool to witness the gospel in the community. Wear dance attire and come prepared to move! Some Dance experience is recommended.
