RISING 6th GRADE CAMP

Get a head start on the 2026-2027 school year with our Rising 6th Grade Camp! This exciting, 4-day summer camp is designed to help students preview the challenges, expectations, and opportunities of entering Middle School at The First Academy. Through hands-on activities and interactive lessons students will gain confidence, meet new teachers and peers, and develop key skills needed to be successful in the upcoming school year. Rising 6th Grade Camp is the perfect way to ease the transition to a new division, build excitement for the upcoming school year, and ensure students feel prepared and ready to succeed.

FOUNDATIONS OF THEOLOGY

At Home Independent course study through the Summer.

Rising 10th & 11th Grade

FOUNDATIONS OF THEOLOGY

Summer School at-home Independent Study with Dr. Toenges. This course is worth 0.5 credit. It is a required course designed to help students establish a foundation of concepts and terminology on which to build a theological framework. The overarching purpose of this course is to equip students with an understanding of God’s Word more fully as it digs into the essentials of all major areas of systematic theology. Students must have completed Biblical Formations to be able to take this course.

Rising 12th Grade

COLLEGE APPLICATION CAMP

Over the years, college applications and the admissions process has become complicated and stressful. We want to help you get a jump start on the college applications so that you can enjoy your Senior year. We will focus on the following:
-The Dos and Don’ts of writing college essays
-Common Application and Institutional Applications
-Any Self-Reporting Grade Processes
-Using SCOIR to your advantage
-Navigating the college application process

PERSONAL FITNESS

June 8 – 11 and June 15 – 18

9 am – 3 pm

Rising 9th – 12th Grade

PERSONAL FITNESS

Students will acquire knowledge of physical fitness concepts, understand the influence of lifestyle on health and fitness, and begin to develop an optimal level of fitness. Personal Fitness will take place on TFA’s campus using a mixture of an Upper School classroom, the weightroom and the Cramer Family Field House. This course serves as a graduation requirement for all students not participating in a varsity sport for at least two years while in the Upper School.
